How it works
- The customer uploads an original read and selects the modifications
- The system identifies the vehicle and ECU and searches previously validated donor files for the same calibration
- WinOLS applies the change set through scripted operations, using the donor as reference
- Safety checks run before delivery: is the file a genuine original, does the size and checksum match, is the change set consistent
- If everything passes, the file is encrypted where required and delivered automatically; if not, it goes to a human queue
What must never be automated
- Files that are not confirmed originals: a modified read must never be used as a base
- Unknown calibrations without a validated donor
- Anything where the safety check is inconclusive — a queued job costs a delay, a wrong file costs an ECU

Is an automatically generated file safe?
It is safe when the automation validates that the base file is a genuine original and that the applied change set matches a known-good donor; anything inconclusive should go to a human.
What happens if the system does not recognise the ECU?
The job falls back to manual production, so the customer still gets the file — just not instantly.
