Alientech KESS3 decode and encode for your file service

Customers send the file read with their KESS3. TuningFile decodes it through your Alientech account, you (or AutoRemap) tune it, and the tuned file is encoded back in the mode the customer needs.

Updated October 2026

How it works

  1. Upload. The customer uploads the KESS3 file in your branded portal.
  2. AutoDecrypt. TuningFile sends the file to your Alientech account and retrieves the decoded read.
  3. Tuning. You tune the read, or AutoRemap prepares a draft from your WinOLS database.
  4. AutoCrypt. The modified file is encoded for Boot/Bench or OBD and delivered with the order.

What you need

  • Your own Alientech account, whose credentials you enter in your admin panel.
  • A TuningFile portal from €10/month, no setup fee.

No software to install for this tool: the steps run in the cloud.

Slave files done right

Customers with a slave tool receive the encrypted file. TuningFile warns you if the file you are about to deliver looks like a plain read. See slave file management.

Alientech, KESS, Autotuner, Dimsport, DSManager, Magic Motorsport and Flex are trademarks of their respective owners. TuningFile is not affiliated with them: it connects to the services you already use, with your own accounts and licences.

Frequently asked questions

Which KESS3 modes can TuningFile encode?

Boot/Bench and OBD, selected from the customer’s request.

Does it replace my Alientech account?

No. It works through your account, so Alientech’s own terms and costs still apply.

Can I tune automatically?

Yes, with AutoRemap, our WinOLS bot. You can review the draft before the file is encoded and delivered.
